Concentrated Industrial Strength Concrete Cleaner & Etcher
Product Description
CC502 is specially formulated to clean and etch most concrete and masonry surfaces. It is a concentrated industrial strength concrete cleaner and etcher designed to remove even the toughest stains related to rust, efflorescence, leaves or other foliage, and other nonpetroleum contaminants like mold, mildew, and algae. This product also serves as an extremely effective etching agent to prepare concrete and masonry surfaces prior to any sealing or coating projects. This cleaner and etcher is extremely user friendly and easier to use than most unformulated chemical etching solutions or straight muriatic acid. This product comes in concentrated powder form which is easily diluted with water for desired cleaning strength. A 32 oz. container of cleaner makes up to 2 gallons of liquid cleaner or 1 gallon of etching agent when diluted with water.
Recommended Uses
CC502 was originally developed for commercial and industrial applications and is widely used throughout North America to this day for those applications. Concrete Sealers USA is now also making this professional grade concrete cleaner and etcher available to the residential market so small contractors, applicators, and do-it-yourselfers can enjoy the same superior benefits that architects, engineers, and large contractors have enjoyed for years. CC502 is recommended for use on all forms of concrete and masonry surfaces. It is ideal for cleaning commercial and residential surfaces such as such as workshop floors, warehouse floors, automotive garage floors, retail store floors, restaurant floors, garage floors, basement floors, driveways, sidewalks, walkways, porches, steps, pool decking, patios, brick or stone pavers, and concrete pavers.

It also serves as an etching agent to clean and etch concrete and masonry surfaces prior to applying any penetrating sealers or topical coatings. This product is not intended to remove petroleum based stains (ex. oil, grease, gas, brake fluid, transmission fluid, etc.). CC502 may cause slight discoloration on darker surfaces. This product may damage vegetation or may etch glass, vinyl, aluminum, plastic, wood, and metal. This product contains sulfamic acid. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. The Company does not warranty specific performance results or compatibility with products manufactured by others. The Company shall bear no liability, other than replacement of defective product. Surface Preparation
Surfaces should be clean and free of dust, dirt, and debris. For areas with petroleum based stains, clean area first with a heavy duty cleaner such as our CC501, let dry sufficiently, and then clean remaining contaminants with the CC502. Protect all areas to be cleaned. Mask off all adjacent surfaces with painter’s tape, plastic duct tape, or plastic sheets, as necessary.
Application
Always test in small area prior to full application. Surface should be dry for prior to application of the cleaner. Do not apply below 40°F or above 85°F during the application period. For rust, efflorescence, and leaf stains, dissolve contents of a 32 oz. container with up to 2 gallons of water. To clean and etch concrete as preparation for applying a penetrating sealer or topical coating, mix contents of a 32 oz. container with 1 gallon of water. Use heavy duty plastic work pail for mixing. Do not use a galvanized container. Stir material thoroughly before and during application. Once mixed with water, the product is very stable and any excess can be stored in a closed container for later use. Spot treat severe stains and then saturate the entire area to be cleaned. Cleaner can be applied with low pressure sprayer, stiff broom, or brush. Agitate with a stiff broom or brush and allow cleaner to dwell 25-30 minutes. Rinse cleaned area thoroughly with water using a garden hose or by power washing and sweep clean with a broom. For severe stains, repeat a necessary. Clean application materials with warm water.
